"Pastor, I'm in the military, and sometimes I have to fight in battles to protect my country. Do you think God will forgive me for the things I've had to do?"

Absolutely! The plan of God is that when His glory fully fills the church, nations will seek refuge in the church, and one remarkable change will be the absence of war. This means there won't be any need for weapons like guns, swords, or bombs. Companies that manufacture weapons will have to switch to other businesses because there won't be any wars or fears of wars anymore. Let's see what the Bible says about this:

In the book of Isaiah, it talks about a time in the future when the house of the Lord will be exalted above all other places, and all nations will come to seek guidance from God. Instead of using weapons for war, they will turn them into tools for farming and feeding people. Imagine living in a world without the constant threat of war!

But until that day comes, soldiers will continue to play an essential role in maintaining peace and security around the world. Despite the challenges and dangers they face, soldiers help protect nations and ensure that people can live in peace. This is crucial for believers too because it's hard to worship and serve God when there's chaos and conflict in the land.

However, to make sure soldiers are aligned with God's will, John the Baptist provided some simple guidance. He emphasized the importance of living a life that reflects repentance. When people asked him what they should do, he gave them practical advice, including soldiers:

Do not commit violence against anyone: Soldiers should not abuse their authority or unjustly harm others. They should follow the rules and regulations set for them.

Do not falsely accuse anyone: Soldiers should not make up stories or falsely accuse people to punish them. They should uphold justice and fairness in their actions.

Be content with your pay: Soldiers should not use their position to extort or take advantage of others. They should be satisfied with their wages and not resort to corruption or greed.

In conclusion, soldiers who act with integrity and follow the principles of righteousness will find favor with God and grow spiritually.

I hope this sheds light on the topic for someone.

Stay blessed, in Jesus' name!

"Pastor, I'm young and not thinking about marriage yet,but how do I resist the temptations of this world and control my desires?"

I'm surprised that there are still young people thinking this way. Nowadays, satisfying the desires of the flesh has become common, even among Christians. Some pastors even promote what they call "Christian dating." But in my article yesterday, I made it clear that desiring a romantic life when you're not ready for marriage is a distraction from serving God. You'd be wasting your energy on something that probably won't work out. One of my followers who read yesterday’s article was relieved. She had been struggling with feelings for a guy, but deep down, she knew it wasn't the right time for her. She fought against those feelings until one day she realized they were gone. In today's world, where many people have lost sight of morals and decency, it's crucial to take strict measures to avoid being pressured into doing the wrong thing. Here are two things you can do: Be cautious of pleasure. Pleasure can weaken your spiritual strength and distract y...

"Pastor, someone mentioned that they love God more than their wife. Do you think God agrees with this?"

Love is a topic that touches the deepest parts of our hearts. It's what makes life meaningful, and yet, it's also one of the most complex aspects of our existence. In this discussion, we delve into the depths of love, particularly within the context of marriage, guided by the wisdom found in scripture. Let's begin with Ephesians 5, where the Apostle Paul provides profound insights into the sacrificial nature of love within marriage. He instructs husbands to love their wives as Christ loved the church, giving himself up for her. This sacrificial love isn't just about being willing to die for one another; it's about daily acts of selflessness and sanctification through the word of God. In essence, husbands are called to nurture and cherish their wives, correcting them in love and praying for them when needed. This sacrificial love mirrors Christ's love for the church, which seeks the ultimate good of the beloved. It's a love that endures even in the face of ...

"Pastor, everything God said would happen in my career was going well until recently. But now, things have gotten really tough, and I feel like God's help is far away. What do you think could have caused this change?"

Unveiling Spiritual Insights: Understanding the Factors That May Disconnect Us from God's Help The scriptures serve as a profound guide, illuminating the intricate dynamics of our relationship with the divine. Within its sacred texts, we find wisdom that unveils the subtle yet powerful factors that can hinder our connection with God's assistance.
